Annual Memorial Day Salute
PLEASE JOIN US FOR WEEDSPORT’S ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY SALUTE
When: Monday, May 27 th – 9:00 am
Where: Weedsport Jr-Sr High School Parking Lot
Who: All Veterans, their family members, AND the entire community! Everyone is invited to this fully handicapped accessible event.
What: A unique Memorial Day event – we will have a lot of exhibits and tributes to the dedicated service of America’s veterans, their fallen comrades and our nation’s history. Students from throughout our district will participate by playing music, singing songs, and creating a showcase dedicated to our
fallen servicemen and women.
Our morning salute even includes a Watch Fire to honor and remember our POW*MIA servicemembers and to properly dispose of worn or damaged American Flags. (Please bring any American flags you would
like retired, and we will include them in our ceremony.)
