What do I do when I get a ticket?
Sign under either the guilty (part a) or not guilty (part b) portion of the ticket and send the ticket to the Court that is written on the ticket. You can find the Court and address on the left hand side of the ticket above the large print. If you plead guilty, we will notify you by mail as to the fine and surcharge. If you plead not guilty, we will notify you by mail as to the date you will be scheduled to appear for a pre-trial conference with the District Attorney’s office.  

What payments are acceptable?
Cash, money orders and certified checks are accepted. Personal checks will not be accepted. The clerk is available Mondays 7:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday 9:00 A.M-2:00 P.M. possible additional hours (please call to confirm). ONLY the Court Clerk can accept cash payments. You may drop off to the Village Clerk’s Office your money order or certified check IF you know the exact amount you owe BUT she cannot give you a receipt. Only the Court Clerk can do that. Credit card payments are accepted but can be made only on-line by clicking on the link above or by calling 1-888-912-1541. Please be advised that a convenience fee will be charged by using this service. If mailing your payment and you would like a receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment.
