Change your address online at the Cayuga County website.

Village taxes can be paid on-line! Click on the link above.  Select the appropriate year (2015 for this year).  Enter any one of the following: bill number, name(s), property address OR tax map number.  Click on the white “VIEW” button to pull up the specific property tax bill information.  The current status of the tax bill will appear on the next screen.  Click on the yellow “MAKE AN ON-LINE PAYMENT” in the lower left corner of the screen then follow steps to make the on-line payment.  Please note that an additional 2.75% service fee will be charged for the on-line credit card payments.   E-Check payments have fees as follows:  $2.50 for payments up to $1,999.99; $5.00 for payments from $2,000.00 to $3,999.99; $7.50 for payments $4,000.00 to $5,999.99; $10.00 for payments $6,000.00 to $7,999.9; etc.  That amount goes directly to the processing company for the actual on-line payment transaction process. 

Taxes – If you do not have escrow, you should receive the following tax bills:

  • Town & County taxes – January – payable at the Town of Brutus Office, 9021 N. Seneca St.

  • Village – March – payable at the Village Office
  • School – September – payable to School or Chemung Bank, Auburn

Village of Weedsport Notice of Tax Collection

Take Notice:  That I, the undersigned Collector of the Village of Weedsport have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the fiscal 2022-2023 year.

Collection of the above taxes will be at the Village Office, 8892 South St., Weedsport NY during regular business hours March 1, 2022 thru April 1, 2022, without penalty.  Taxes may be paid online at:  villageofweedsport.org and click TAX GLANCE,

On April 2, 2022 a 5% penalty will be added.  Each month thereafter, 1% per month will be added to the bill until October 19, 2022.  At that time, all unpaid taxes will be turned over to the Cayuga County Treasurer for collection and enforcement.
